Gymnastics events are held on almost every weekend of the year across all Gymsports and levels. Gymnastics Victoria member clubs are continually improving their ability to deliver fun, friendly and entertaining events for participants of all ages and abilities. All member clubs are entitled to apply to have their event sanctioned and promoted through Gymnastics Victoria.
 
 
 
  

Apply to Run a Gymnastics Event

Gymnastics Victoria has established key selection criteria, based on the unique requirements of each Gymsport, to assist member clubs in applying for an event. All applicants are encouraged to read through the relevant application guidelines available below:
Some of the benefits of having an event sanctioned include:
  • Securing a key date on the Gymnastics Victoria calendar
  • Promotional opportunities through Gymnastics Victoria
  • Recognition of professional development for registered technical members that attend the event
  • The possibility of having the event sanctioned with Level Award Testing status

Plan your Gymnastics Event

The Event Planning Guidelines have been developed to assist clubs in the planning and delivery of gymnastics events in Victoria. The content has been developed by Gymnastics Victoria staff and Technical Committee members with the intent to ensure a high and consistent standard of event delivery regardless of the level and status of the competition.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Promote Your Gymnastics Event 

Gymnastics Victoria encourages all clubs to promote their event using the Event Marketing Kit. The kit has been put together to assist member clubs with their event promotions and to offer advertising opportunities through the GV website.
