2   RG TECHNICAL COMMITTEE (RG TC)
 
2.1 Goals & Objectives
  • To increase participation in RG activities in Victoria
  • To improve the performance of Victorian competitive Rhythmic Gymnasts
  • To program a calendar of events to cater for all levels of ability.
  • To involve more people in all aspects of the sport of RG in Victoria – coaches, judges, volunteers, parents, everybody.
  • To disseminate technical information to coaches, judges and officials
2.2 Responsibilities
Ensuring conformity to the Committee Statutes of the International Federation of Gymnastics (FIG), Gymnastics Australia (GA) and Gymnastics Victoria (GV), the RG Technical Committee is responsible for:
  • The implementation and administration of the RG National Program (State, National & International) Individuals, Pairs, Trios & Group.
  • The correct technical conduct of all GV RG events.
  • The development and administration of competition rules and regulations.
  • The selection of State Teams. Officials - final ratification by the GV Board.
  • The provision and implementation of judge education within the State.
 
2.3 Meeting Procedures
2.3.1 Frequency
The Committee shall meet at least 10 times per year (dates to be published in the GV Bulletin).
 
2.3.2 Power to Co-Opt
The Committee shall have the power to co-opt such additional persons to the Committee as is deemed necessary, and for such time and/or specific items as determined by the Committee. The power may extend to encompass persons with special abilities from outside Gymnastics Victoria.
