Becoming an Inclusive Leader Club

We are working hard towards our vision of “Gymnastics for Everybody”. Part of this is encouraging all our affiliate clubs to be Inclusive Leader Clubs. An Inclusive Leader Club is a gymnastics club that works with their wider community to ensure that inclusive gymnastics opportunities are open for all. To be recognised as an Inclusive Leader Club, clubs will need to complete all of our Inclusive Club Guidelines, now available on our Inclusive Club App

The app is available on Android and Apple devices. You can submit written content, upload photos, and much more.

To download:

1. Go to the "App Store" or "Play Store"

2. Search "Gymnastics Victoria"

3. Scroll until you see an app called "Inclusion" with the Gymnastics Victoria logo.

4. Download the app (it's free!)

5. Become an Inclusive Leader Club!

Inclusive Awareness Workshop - Free at your club!

Click here to book your Inclusive Awareness Workshop Today!

We currently offer a free inclusive awareness workshop for gymnastics coaching staff, administrators, committees, volunteers, and sporting organisations. Our inclusion awareness workshop focuses on raising awareness around working with people from underrepresented groups (older adults, people with disability, newly arrived migrant and refugee communities and Aboriginal Australians). The workshop also teaches coaches how to modify activities to include all participants regardless of their background, age, gender and ability. This practical 2hr workshop is fun, interactive and run at your club at a time that works for you.
