International Competition Update
A number of changes have been made to Australia’s International squads ahead of upcoming competitions.
For the upcoming WAG EnDW DTB Pokal Cup in Stuttgart, Germany, it is with sadness Emily Whitehead has had to withdraw from the team due to injury. Emily will be replaced by fellow Victorian, Macy Pegoli, from CYC. In addition, Emily’s vacancy means Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist Kate McDonald will lead the Australian WAG squad for the first time.
There has also been a withdrawal from the Men’s squad, with Marcus Casamento also unable to recovery from injury in time to compete. Marcus will be replaced by fellow Victorian, Sandi Hardiman. The MAG squad will be led by South Australian, Clay Mason Stephens.
Please join us in wishing Emily and Marcus a safe and speedy recovery, as well as all Victorian athletes and coaches the best of luck for their competition!
