It’s not long now until the 2018 Australian Gymnastics Championships, with only two weeks to go until the start of competition!
The competition takes place over two weeks, with top gymnasts from each state and territory competing for the title of 2018 Australian Champion. With over 1,400 athletes competing, it is sure to be an exciting and action packed event. Five Gymsports will be on show, including disciplines of Women’s and Men’s Artistic, Rhythmic, Trampoline and Acrobatic Gymnastics. We are looking forward to watching our 263 Victorian competitors compete across all of the Gymsports at Hisense Arena.
The first week of competition will feature the Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics qualifications and finals. Victoria has 71 Women’s Artistic Gymnasts and 53 Men’s Artistic Gymnasts representing the state at this year’s competition.
