How To Become a Judge

 

 

Step 1.      Complete the FREE on-line Introductory Officiating  Principles course, co-ordinated  by the Australian Sports Commission -   click here to access

Step 2.      Print off certificate from On-Line Beginning Officiating General Principles

Step 3.     Attach certificate to Gymnastics Victoria Judging course application and send to GV with payment

Step 4.     Attend Judging  course. Candidates will receive all notes at course. It is recomended that Candiates take a copy of the National Levels Program with them to the course.  Your club should be able to help you with this.

Step 5    If passed, candidates will receive a congratulations letter and a Technical member application form within a few weeks of the course. Candidates will need to send the Technical Member application form to Gymnastics Australia with nominated payment within 3 months of receipt.  

 
All candidates applying to attend a Beginner Judging course in 2012 onwards will need to send in their on-line certificate for the Beginning Officiating General Principles course with their application form.
 
Any candidates that send in an application for a Beginner Judging course course without having attaching a copy of their completion of the on-line Beginner Officating Geneneral Principles course  will have their form returned to them.
