2/12/1: Congratulations to Taylor Tirahardjo, who has been selected as Reserve Gymnast for the Pacific Rim Championships.

1/12/5: Important News for Rhythmic Gymnasts:
The 2012 Rhythmic Gymnastics Senior Victorian Championships will now once again be held at the State Netball Hockey Centre, on the weekend of 8th-11th June 2012.
Gymnastics Victoria is thrilled that once again, Rhythmic Gymnastics joins the lineup of Men’s and Women’s Gymnastics in this action-packed, multi-gymsport event.
This year, Rhythmic competitors will participate in one day of competition only.  Thus we are pleased to announce that the event entry fee for competitors has been reduced to $80.00. Please note that this is a change from the stated amount in the Gymnastics Victoria yearbook.
We wish all Rhythmic gymnasts the best as they embark on training for the 2012 season

1/12/3: Bounce:
RG is looking for volunteers to perform as the GV Mascot Bounce and his Coach. Volunteers need to be trained as Bounce has specific movements in order to maintain continuity across the disciplines. Bounce also needs a Coach to speak for him, as he is silent. It is a lot of fun and the younger gymnasts love having Bounce show up at competitions. If you have an older gymnast, coach or even parent who would be interested contact Cathy at GV.

1/12/2: GV Foundation:
The GV Foundation has already made several grants in 2011 for equipment, matting, etc. Clubs should consider whether they are eligible to apply in 2012.

1/12/1: Videos:
If you find a RG youtube clip that you think is impressive let GV know of the link and they will put it on their Facebook Page.
